Os editores da revista americana Rolling Stone entrevistaram especialistas e compilaram uma classificação das melhores séries e programas de TV que a televisão ocidental nos apresentou em toda a sua história.

A revista Rolling Stone decidiu ir além do século atual e convidou especialistas para votar em qualquer série e programa de TV já lançado. O processo envolveu críticos, atores, roteiristas, produtores e outros profissionais da indústria.
